The article on ‘How to record grades’, mentions that the ‘TA’ (Teacher’s approval) and ‘AA’ (Admin approval) checkboxes have to be checked before saving the record. The admin/approved manager only or admin/approved manager and teachers can be enabled to set who approves grades and BNS records as follows:
1. Go to ‘Portal Settings’
2. Under the Global Setting section, select ‘Academic’ tab
3. Under SESSION & TERM section, ‘choose profile’ (Admin or School)
4. ‘Set Session’
5. ‘Set Term’
6. Under ‘GRADES & BNS RECORDS’ section, select the corresponding option between ‘ADMIN/MANAGER’ and ‘ADMIN/MAN & TEACHERS’
Selecting ‘ADMIN/MANAGER’ means the Admin and approved Manager (How to allow/disallow Manager from Viewing/ Handling Academic Records) can approve grades and BNS records, and the ‘TA’ and ‘AA’ checkboxes appear for approving. Whereas, selecting ‘ADMIN/MAN & TEACHERS’ means the Admin and approved Manager can only approve for ‘AA’ only, while the subject teacher/ or class teacher would approve the ‘TA” column
7. Scroll down the page and click ‘Update Setting’ to save changes.
