The broadsheet serves as the document that gives the summary in full glance of the academic performance of students for all subjects in a class. So the broadsheet tells us how everyone in a class fared and the position of each student. To view the broadsheet, the report for all subjects in that class must be entered and generated. Classes that reports haven’t been generated for will not appear under the broadsheet environment. To view broadsheets, take the steps below:
1. Go to ‘Reports’.
2. Click on ‘Academic’.
3. Click on ‘Broadsheet’.
4. ‘Select session’.
5. ‘Select Term’.
6. Select ‘Report Type’ (either ‘single class’ to have the view for each class or ‘level class’ to have the view for all classes in the same level merged together).
7. ‘Select class’. After selecting the class, the record loads up immediately and each student’s score for each subject is seen as well as his/her position for the term.
Below the page shows the graphical representation of the performance of the students in comparison with other students for the selected class.
To print the broadsheet:
8. Click on the print icon and it takes you to the printing environment.
It may be fitting to study the broadsheet first and ascertain all parameters her before either printing the results and/ or publishing them so that, should there be any adjustment, these can be done before sending them out to parents and their wards.
