Sometimes, it could be necessary to provide students with a report of how they had fared academically during the first half of a term. The report given at this time (end of the first half of a term) is known as the Mid Term Report. Often times, this report contains just the first two CATs report of the students in each class ad it helps to evaluate the student and the students, in turn, will see areas they need to work better at in subsequent CATs and/ or exams.
To generate a ‘mid-term report’, you must first enter the scores either manually or bulk upload (see documentation on ‘how to record grades’). If that is done, follow the steps below to generate the mid-term report:
1. Go to ‘Reports.
2. Click on ‘Academic’.
3. Click on ‘mid-term report’.
4. ‘select school level’ (Nursery, Primary, etc.).
5. ‘select class’
6. Click on ‘load records’ (at this point, all students in the selected class shows up with their corresponding scores for all subjects offered in the class).
7. Check the ‘make available’ box and the student(s) and/or their parents or guardians will be able to look up the reports from their end.
8. Click on the print icon at the end of each student’s report detail if the decision is to print the result out for anyone.
