Grade System refers to the pattern to which a school wishes to rate subject scores. Different grading systems can be created for different school levels. To create a grade system, follow the steps below:
1. Go to ‘Academic’
2. Select ‘Grades’
3. Select ‘Grading System’.
4. Select ‘Add GS’
5. Type a ‘Grade system name’
6. Click ‘proceed’
7. Create a ‘grade name’ using an alphabet
8. Select ‘lowest score’ and ‘highest score’ of the grade
Note: The ‘lowest score’ and ‘highest score’ for each grade must not conflict nor overlap each other. All must form 100.
9. Select a ‘color weight’ for the grade. This color is the color that you prefer a grade to be shown on the report sheet. For example, a school may decide that all low scores that are termed 'fail' be written in red. So, in that case, the red color would be selected for that grade.
10. Give a remark for the grade
11. Give a ‘long description’ if necessary
12. Click on ‘Add Row’ for the corresponding number of grades needed for the school level
13. Click on ‘Add grade system’ to save
Repeat all steps if you need to create more than one grading system for different school levels.
Sometimes, there may need to modify an existing grading system. To do this:
1. Go to ‘Grades’
2. Click on the edit icon beside the ‘grade system name’
3. Click proceed
4. Make your changes and click on ‘update GS’
