Academic Head refers to a member under the Manager category that serves as the one in charge of academic matters in the school. The Academic Head name and signature appear on the report sheet for each student automatically after it has been set on the 'portal settings' environment. Hence, before this setting can be made, the one to serve as the academic head has to be added to the manager member category and the signature too must be added when adding the member (How to add members). To set Academic Head for school levels, follow the steps below:
1. Go to ‘Portal Settings’
2. Under Global Settings section, select ‘Academic’ tab
3. ‘Choose school level’ (Nursery, Primary, etc.)
4. From ‘GRADING SYSTEM, ACADEMIC HEAD & SCORE ROUND UP’ section, set Academic Head by selecting from the list of managers’ names appearing in the tray, the one to serve as Academic Head for that school level
5. Click on ‘Update Setting’ down the page to save changes.
6. Repeat step one to five for other school levels
