How to do class promotions

It is from the broadsheet environment that the promotion status - pass or for each student in each class is done. pass and fail, promote and repeat are done for each student in a class. At the end of the session, promotion status is initiated and the statuses are promoted, promoted on trial, repeat, no promotion.

To do class promotion do the following:

1.   Go to ‘Reports’ nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

2.   Click on ‘Academic’ nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

3.   Click on ‘Broadsheet’ nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

4.   ‘Select session’ nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

5.   ‘Select Term’ nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

6.   Select ‘Report Type’ (either ‘single class’ to have the view for each class or ‘level class’ to have the view for all classes in the same level merged together) nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

7.   ‘Select class’. After selecting the class, the record loads up immediately and each student’s score for each subject is seen as well as his/her position for the term. nersapp.com | Nersapp Support nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

8.   Scroll to the far right of the broadsheet environment for the selected class

9.   Click on the corresponding check circles next to the name of each student based on their average. nersapp.com | Nersapp Support

Note: The grading system set for fail, pass and the rest should guide you when checking the circles to determine the promotion status for each student (How to add/update grade system)

10.   Click on the flag options above to save the process.
