How to allow/disallow Manager from Viewing/ Handling Academic Records

Those in the manager member category have special rights to access, by default, almost all areas of the school portal. However, certain rights can be restricted from some or given to others. For example, all in the manager member category can be given access to view and handle the academic records of all students in each class. To do this,

1.   Go to ‘Portal Settings’

2.   Under Global Settings section, select ‘Academic’ tab

3.   Scroll down the page to ‘Academic Settings for Managers’. From the first and second sections ‘ALLOW ACCESS TO VIEW ACADEMIC/MEMBER RECORDS’ and ‘ALLOW ACCESS TO HANDLE ACADEMIC/MEMBER RECORDS’ respectively, select from the list of managers appearing whom would be given the right to both view and handle academic records.

4.   Click ‘Update Setting’ to save changes.
