This section helps to explain how each teacher on the system can be assigned some roles, roles such as class(es) to handle, subjects to teach, and classes to teach those subjects. Note, before assigning classes and subjects to a teacher, that teacher should have been added as a member in the Teacher category, only then will such teacher appear on the list of teachers. To assign classes and subjects to teachers, follow the steps below:
1. Go to ‘Members’ from the menu
2. Click on ‘Assign Classes and Subject’
3. ‘Select Teacher’ from the list
4. From the right tray, (Assign Classes and/ or Subjects) activate Yes if the teacher is a class teacher, and ignore, if not a class teacher
5. From the question ‘Is Subject teacher?’, ignore if not a subject teacher and click ‘Save’
6. Activate ‘Yes’ if a subject teacher. And from the tray that comes up, indicate by figure, the number of classes to be taken
7. Click ‘Add’ and automatically Nersapp loads classes corresponding to the number selected
8. Select a class for each (if more than one), and the subject(s) the teacher would be taking the selected class
9. Click ‘Save’ to process.
Note: The maximum number of classes that can be added at a time in step 6 is nine. If the classes a teacher teaches is more than nine, steps 1-9 would have to be repeated for the same teacher for the remaining classes with their subject(s) and the remaining classes would be indicated in step 6. When all steps are taken, Nersapp automatically adds the remaining details to the already existing detail of the selected teacher.
