How to add/Update Fee Conditions

Fee conditions are charges added on or removed from a fee invoice when certain conditions are met or not met. Examples of fee conditions are scholarships, late payment penalties, etc. On Nersapp, any fee condition that gives the school money is tagged ‘Positive’ (Late payment charges) while any condition that takes money from the school is tagged ‘Negative’ (Scholarships). You can add fee conditions as follows



  1. Click on ‘Finance’ on the Menu

  2. Click on ‘Fees’

  3. Click on ‘Fee Collectibles’ and locate the section ‘Fee Conditions’

  4. In the left tray in the ‘Fee Conditions section,’ you will find ‘add/update Fee Conditions’

  5. Select the condition type and also Input name, description, quantity, amount and when the condition should apply from and to (if applicable).

  6. There is an option to ‘apply (the condition) if student debt is greater than a certain percent of his/her outstanding amount. This option applies mostly to positive conditions, so use it if it is applicable to the situation. 

  7. Click on ‘Add condition’ button to save the condition.

  8. Repeat this to add all fee conditions.


How to edit Fee conditions: 


  1. Check the right tray of the ‘Fee conditions section’, you will find all the Fee conditions you have added.

  2. Click on the Fee Condition you want to edit and it show up in the ‘add/update fee conditions’ section

  3. Make your changes and click on ‘Update’ to save changes.
