How to change members’ Status

The Status of a member refers to the condition, position or standing of the member on the portal. And Nersapp is set in a way that members belonging to these different statuses can have access to one role or another as the situation warrants. When adding a member, of course, status must be assigned before it can be processed. But a situation may arise that the status of a member would need to be changed. To change the status of a member, follow the steps below:

1.   Go to ‘Members’ from the menu

2.   Click on ‘Manage members’ submenu

3.   Select the member type (student, parent, teacher or manager) on the top left corner

4.   Select from the list of options available, when any of the checkboxes that you prefer to search by is selected

5.   Click on the ‘Search’ icon to load option(s) selected

6.   From the loaded records, (if you wish) type a name in the search box below to isolate a member from the list to ease the search.

7.   Check the box(es) corresponding to the name(s) of the member(s) and click on ‘Change Status’

8.   Select a new status and click ‘OK’

 

Please note that the members that their status can be changed, include those in the Student, Teacher, and Manager category. Members in parent category status by default is ‘Inactive’ and cannot be changed until a Ward is attached to the parent and then the parent will become ‘Active’
